A haircut and a beard in one booking

A client wants a haircut and a beard trim in one visit. Before, a booking could hold only one service. Now in Talenza one booking can have several services: the pro adds them with the “Add service” button, and the time and price add up on their own. The client ticks the services they need on the booking page and immediately sees free time for the whole booking at once.

Time and price add up on their own

The "Client booking" form with two services: "Men's haircut" and "Beard styling"

In the booking form, a list now replaces the single “Service” field. Press “Add service,” pick one from your price list, and it joins the list as the next row. If you need one more, press the button again. The same service can be added several times.

From there Talenza does the math for you. The booking ends after the sum of all the services’ durations, and the price equals the sum of their prices. There is still just one break after the booking, at the very end, after the last service: no pause appears between the haircut and the beard.

The booking card: services "Men's haircut | Beard styling" and a total of 3,200 ₽

In the booking card, services are separated by a vertical bar, and a “Total” line sits below them. If the client has a discount, a percentage discount is calculated from the total amount, while a fixed discount and a certificate are subtracted from it. We covered how the discounts themselves work in the piece on the discount you don’t have to remember.

A booking has a single workplace for all its services. If you change the place and some of the services aren’t offered there, the app will ask what to do: cancel the change or remove the unavailable services from the booking.

You can adjust a service right in the booking

Sometimes a haircut takes an hour instead of forty-five minutes, or you agreed on a lower price than usual. Tap the service in the booking — a window opens where you can change the name, duration, and price. The duration is set in five-minute steps, from five minutes to twelve hours. The “Delete” button at the bottom removes the service from the booking.

These edits apply only to this booking. The price list doesn’t change, and next time the service will be offered at its usual price and duration. If you changed only the duration or the price, the client won’t get a “Booking changed” message: they didn’t reorder anything. But changing the name or the set of services counts as a change, and the client will be notified.

At least one service must remain in the booking: without any services, it can’t be saved.

The client ticks the services

The client's booking page: groups of services with checkmarks and the note "selected 1"

On the client’s side everything looks simpler. On the booking page, services are gathered into groups, each with a checkmark. A group’s header shows how many services in it are already selected. If you have several workplaces, the client first picks the place, and services that aren’t offered there are cleared on their own.

Once services are selected, free time is shown right away for the whole booking: Talenza adds up the durations and offers only those slots where everything fits. The client doesn’t have to work out whether there’s enough time for a haircut and a beard back to back.

On the booking page, in Telegram, and in emails, services appear as a single list: “Haircut | Beard”.

What a booking can’t do

A few limits are better known in advance. A group class doesn’t combine with other services: it stays a separate booking. Services marked “by phone only” and services hidden from the price list can’t be chosen by the client themselves; you add them. A single booking holds no more than 20 services, and the total duration must not exceed 24 hours. And all the services in a booking must be available at one workplace.

The bottom line

A client comes in for a haircut and a beard, and in the schedule it is one booking: with a shared time, a shared total, and one break at the end. You don’t have to add anything up in your head, and the client doesn’t have to arrange a second visit.
