What to replace YCLIENTS with: an alternative for a solo pro and a small studio

Talenza vs YCLIENTS

YCLIENTS is the best-known CRM in Russia for beauty salons and the service sector, and not without reason: it covers managing a chain of several locations, inventory, financial accounting, dozens of employees. But if you’re a solo pro or run a small studio with one or two places, you most likely don’t need half of that functionality — and you have to pay for it anyway. We look at how Talenza may be more convenient in that case.

Who YCLIENTS is for

If you have a chain of several locations, dozens of employees, and need inventory accounting of materials and complex financial reporting — YCLIENTS was made for that, and here it handles tasks Talenza doesn’t address at all. That’s an honest answer: a large business doesn’t need a replacement.

When it’s worth a look at Talenza

If you’re the only pro or a studio with one or two workplaces, and what you need from a booking system is essentially one thing: for a client to book on their own, and for you to get a confirmed booking without calls and chatting — you’re probably paying for YCLIENTS (or looking at it) for features you don’t use.

In Talenza it looks like this: a public booking page in three steps, with no password or captcha for a returning client, date and time by tap. Reminders to clients with visit confirmation — including for free through the Telegram bot, not only paid SMS. A portfolio of your work right in the app, without a separate Instagram account. And search across services and clients that really simplifies something on the small screen of a phone.

Talenza’s basic plan is free with no time limit — you can try it without deciding in advance whether you’re ready to pay for a booking system at all.

What is paid at YCLIENTS and free with us

YCLIENTS has no free plan: after a 7-day trial you can only work on a license, from ₽1,600 a month on yearly payment (the price depends on the number of employees). In return, the license includes all the tools, with no extra charge for each. The terms were checked against the YCLIENTS website on October 6, 2026; prices change, so confirm them before paying. Here is what of the license is free in Talenza:

Included in a YCLIENTS licenseFree in Talenza
Online booking and an appointment bookA personal booking link and a schedule
A client baseClient cards with visit history and search
Automatic remindersReminders in Telegram and by email; SMS is paid and charged from your balance per message sent
DiscountsPersonal, general, one-time and with an expiry date

At YCLIENTS, notifications through the YPLACES app, VKontakte and email are also free, so on that we are equal. The difference is that in Talenza not only reminders but everything else in the table is free too.

What we don’t have

Cashback and points for clients, subscriptions, prepayment and cashless payment, a cash register, inventory, payroll, tips, chain management, 15+ booking platforms and integrations with 100+ services. These are functions of the YCLIENTS license. If you need them rather than simple booking, look at YCLIENTS or other services.

How to switch

Switching looks the same as setting up a new account: specify a specialization, add services (standard beauty services can be chosen from the catalog rather than typed by hand — the name and duration are filled in by themselves), set working hours, and get your own booking link. By our estimate this takes about 5 minutes.

You can move your existing client base by hand (contacts are added in a couple of taps) or simply start collecting it again — but many pros find that their real active base is smaller than it seems from the total number of clients who ever booked.

Frequently asked questions

How is Talenza fundamentally different from YCLIENTS?
Talenza is about cutting the number of screens and settings down to the necessary minimum for a solo pro: booking, reminders, a portfolio, clients. YCLIENTS is about the full range of functionality for a salon with employees, inventory, and financial accounting.

How much does it cost to start using Talenza?
₽0 — the basic plan is free with no time limit.

Can bookings and clients be transferred from YCLIENTS automatically?
Yes. YCLIENTS can export the client base, and clients can be moved into Talenza from that file. Services and schedule are set up again (about 5 minutes), and future bookings stay in the previous service until the visit.

Do I need to install an app?
No — Talenza works in the browser on any device, including a phone. A separate Android app can be installed in addition.

Which of YCLIENTS’s paid features are free in Talenza?
YCLIENTS has no free plan; all features are available on a license from ₽1,600 a month on yearly payment. In Talenza, online booking through a personal link, a schedule, a client base, reminders in Telegram and by email, discounts and gift certificates are free, and only SMS is paid. Talenza has no inventory, payroll, cash register, prepayment, subscriptions or points-based loyalty program.
